Project BELIEF
Building Equitable Learning through Inclusive Education and Friendships
Enabling blind and visually challenged children to access quality English-medium education in inclusive schools.
For most blind and visually challenged children in India, access to quality English-medium education is still extremely limited. The majority have no option but to study in Hindi or regional-language schools, not because of preference, but because opportunities simply do not exist.
The challenge goes beyond language. Quality education for blind children continues to be affected by inaccessible learning environments, limited assistive technology, a shortage of trained educators, and the absence of adequate academic support.
Although many private schools are willing to admit children with blindness, they often lack the awareness, expertise, infrastructure, and support systems needed to create an accessible and inclusive learning environment.
Project BELIEF was established to bridge this gap. By working closely with schools, families, educators, and specialists, we help create inclusive English-medium classrooms where blind and visually challenged children can learn alongside their sighted peers, participate confidently in school life, and receive the support they need to achieve their full potential.
Why Project BELIEF?
Every child deserves the opportunity to receive a quality education in an environment that encourages learning, confidence, friendships, and personal growth.
Inclusive education benefits every child. Blind students gain equal opportunities to learn and participate, while sighted students develop empathy, collaboration, and respect for diversity through everyday experiences. Together, they build stronger classrooms and a more inclusive society.
How We Create Change
Inclusive School Partnerships
We partner with English-medium private schools to help create learning environments where blind and visually challenged children can study alongside their sighted peers.
Accessible Learning
We support access to assistive technology, accessible study material, and learning resources that enable students to participate confidently in the classroom.
Special Educator Support
We work with schools and families to ensure children receive the academic guidance and specialised support they need to succeed.
Transportation Support
Where required, we help remove transportation barriers so children can attend school safely and consistently.
Friendships & Inclusion
We encourage an environment where blind and sighted children learn, play, and grow together, building friendships that promote confidence, understanding, and mutual respect.
Current Reach
Project BELIEF is currently available for blind and visually challenged children living in Jaipur and nearby areas.
As the initiative grows, we aim to expand this model so that more children across India can benefit from quality, inclusive English-medium education.
